Silent Keys Memorial Scholarship

Music has a way of bringing people together, shaping our lives, and leaving a lasting imprint on our hearts. The Silent Keys Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of two incredible women - my Nana, who selflessly paid for my first year of piano lessons when my parents couldn’t, and my Aunt Johnda, with whom I shared a deep passion for music.
This scholarship is more than just financial support - it’s about passing forward the kindness, love, and belief in music that they showed me. Nana understood that dreams sometimes need a little help, and Aunt Johnda showed me how music could be a bond that transcends time and distance. Through this award, I hope to give another aspiring musician the same gift they gave me - the chance to learn, grow, and feel the joy of creating something beautiful.
Their legacy lives on in every note played, in every student who dreams of sitting at a piano and making music their own. If this scholarship can open that door for even one person, then their spirit will continue to shine, just as they always did.
For the love of music,
